Steel Tape Armoured Cable features a PVC insulation system protected by a helical steel tape armour layer, providing robust mechanical defense against impact, tension, and compressive forces. It is suitable for a variety of installation environments including indoor raceways, cable trenches, conduits, vertical shafts, and direct burial in ground. The armouring enables the cable to endure moderate pulling stresses and external mechanical loads during both installation and service. This product is commonly designated as steel tape armoured (STA) control cable, with a rated voltage of 450/750 V.
Application
Steel Tape Armoured Cable series is extensively employed as power supply and interconnection cabling for a broad range of industrial equipment, including machine tools, control panels, production assembly lines, material handling systems, conveyors, and automated workstations. It is also well-suited for factory building installations where the nominal voltage does not exceed 450/750 V.
