The pricing formula for control cables is as follows: Copper Weight × Copper Price = (Wire Diameter ÷ 2)² × 3.14 × Number of Strands × 8.9 × Current Copper Price + 10% Processing Fee.
Calculation of control cable cost price:
Cross-sectional Area (mm²) × 1.83 = Copper Weight × Current Copper Price + Armoring Cost (Weight × 0.4 Yuan/jin) = Cost Price + 10% Processing Fee.
Cable Price = Manufacturing Material Costs + Fixed Costs + Taxes + Sales/Operational Expenses + Profit.
Manufacturing Material Costs = Material Cost × (1 + Material Consumption Rate) (where Material Cost refers to the theoretically calculated value).
Fixed costs vary by company but generally include production wages, administrative wages, utilities, repair costs, depreciation, rent, and transportation expenses.
Common faults in control cable lines include mechanical damage, insulation damage, insulation dampness, insulation aging/deterioration, overvoltage, and cable overheating. When such faults occur, the power supply to the faulty cable must be cut off; the fault location must be identified, inspected, and analyzed; and repairs and testing must be performed (including cutting out damaged sections if necessary). Power supply may only be restored after the fault has been eliminated.
