The core of a copper-tape shielded cable lies in the design of its shielding layer. As a shielding material, copper tape offers excellent electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding performance. Within the cable structure, the copper tape is typically wrapped around the conductor or insulation layer, forming a continuous conductive layer. When external electromagnetic interference affects the cable, the copper tape rapidly diverts the interference energy to the ground, thereby protecting the internal signals from disruption. Additionally, copper-tape shielded cables may incorporate a multi-layer structure-comprising elements such as the conductor, insulation, shielding layer, and outer sheath-to further enhance the cable's performance and safety.
