Designed for extreme thermal environments, high-temperature flexible cables retain excellent pliability while delivering dependable performance in conditions that would cause conventional PVC or rubber insulation to degrade-whether through cracking, melting, or embrittlement. These specialized cables are typically rated for sustained operation across a broad thermal spectrum, from 150°C up to upwards of 450°C.
Application
Ideal for deployment in high-temperature motion equipment exposed to electromagnetic interference, robotic welding stations, aerospace mobile avionics, and automated testing platforms that function under elevated thermal conditions.
Product Advantages
High-Temperature Performance
Maintains dependable operation at 200°C for continuous service, with short-term tolerance up to 260°C-making it well-suited for severe thermal environments.
Electromagnetic Interference Shielding
Equipped with a tin-plated copper braid, this cable effectively suppresses electrical noise to ensure clean and stable signal transmission.

Chemical Resistance
Constructed from fluoropolymer materials that resist degradation from oils, solvents, acids, and alkalis-ideal for aggressive environments such as chemical plants.
Flexibility & Dynamic Endurance
Fine-wire stranding combined with a flexible outer sheath enables smooth routing through complex moving cable paths.
Safety & Environmental Compliance
A low-smoke, halogen-free flame-retardant formulation minimizes toxic fume release during combustion, meeting stringent safety standards.
Long Operational Life
Exceptional resistance to aging and mechanical fatigue ensures prolonged reliability in high-temperature, motion-intensive applications.

Engineering & Installation Rules
Stranding Requirements: It is essential to specify Class 5 or Class 6 fine-wire stranding for these applications. Opting for standard solid or rigid Class 2 conductors will compromise the cable's dynamic flex endurance, accelerating metal fatigue under repeated movement.
Silica Residue Protection: In the event of complete combustion, premium silicone cables produce a non-conductive Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂) ash. This leftover material can serve as an emergency barrier against phase-to-phase shorting, offering a temporary window for sustaining essential control signals.
Reinforcement Against Damage: Pure silicone is inherently soft and susceptible to mechanical damage. For routing paths involving tight radius bends, abrasion against metal structures, or exposure to intense vibration, it is advisable to select cables equipped with an external glass-fiber braid or steel-tape armor (available in specialized flexible armored variants) to guard against compression and impact forces.
